Favorite Disneyland Outfits for Little Girls

If I were to guess, I would estimate my two-year-old daughter has been to Disneyland somewhere around 40 times? My husband is a Disney employee and we take full advantage of the perks that come with that. Disneyland is only about 45 minutes from our house so it’s easy enough to go down for the morning or afternoon and it’s a place we enjoy spending time together as a family.

In an effort to avoid buying 1000 outfits, I committed to a “Decide Once” (a principle made popular by Kendra Adachi of The Lazy Genius) where I would order one Disney outfit in each size and that would be the outfit my daughter wore every single time we wore to Disneyland. None of them are super expensive (most have been bought on sale) but all ooze of cuteness. So take a trip down memory lane with me as I share each of the outfits from the past few years…

6-12 Months
The dress that started it all. I am pretty sure I ordered this during Black Friday SUPER ON SALE from Gap about 4 months before Eloise could even fit into it. The top is knit and the skirt is tulle and 100% adorable. It’s an evergreen style that is available in sizes 0-3mo-5 years and also comes in versions wit characters Snow White, Cinderella and Repunzel. It speaks to the quality of this that we chose to also get the Snow White and Cinderella versions as her decided once outfits at later ages.

12 months

Minnie Mouse was a hit and this smocked bubble found on Etsy was star! There is nothing cuter than toddler thighs and I made it my job to show them off any chance I got! It is a light cotton which is perfect for hot weather.

18 Months

At 18 Months we returned to one of the Gap Disney Dresses that stole our hearts but this time went with Snow White. The “ahh’s” heard as she tottled down main street wearing this still echo in my memories.

24 Months

As you can see, Eloise hung out for a LONG time in the bald babies club and it wasn’t until she was nearly two that we realized she was blonde. I saw this dress available to purchase in the parks and fell in love and then waited for a sale to get it. This ShopDisney style is available in sizes 0-24 Mo. It often sells out on the website so if you are in love with it, let me know and I will keep my eyes open to help you snag one!

2T

I wasn’t playing around when I said we LOVE the Disney Gap Dresses. For Eloises 2nd Birthday she was given this Cinderella dress which she wears while RUNNING thru the parks!

What's Next?

Eloise has recently entered what can only be described as her “Frozen Era?”. She wants to listen to Anna and Elsa and only Anna and Elsa. She does want to build a snowman and her bath time towel has become Anna’s Cape. All that to say, I have a strong suspicion that her next Disney outfit will be this adorable dress from Etsy!
