Mother’s Day Gifts for the New Mom

If you're looking to show a new mom some appreciation this Mother's Day, forget the typical baby-centric gifts and focus on what she really needs: self-care. As someone who's still in the early days of motherhood, I can tell you that the lack of sleep and constant demands can be overwhelming.

That's why we've rounded up some of the best gifts for new moms to help them unwind and prioritize their own well-being. From luxurious skincare products to the comfiest slippers, these gifts are perfect for pampering and relaxation.

A few years back I stayed at a hotel in Dallas and FELL IN LOVE with their specific hotel robe. It was screaming luxury and I was desperate to have it in my life on a daily basis. The robe was branded with the hotel logo but I scanned for additional tags and after all sorts of research was able to find THE EXACT ROBE on Amazon! I quickly added it to my christmas list and have been in luxury robe bliss ever since. The inside is this incredibly soft microfiber and they have literally thousands of five star reviews!

When it comes to personalized jewelry, Vena Chupps' custom silhouette necklace is a true standout. As a new mother myself, I fell in love with the idea of having my daughter's baby profile immortalized in a wearable piece of art. The attention to detail on this necklace is truly remarkable – from my daughter's button nose to the rolls of fat on the back of her neck, every feature is captured perfectly. And knowing that I'll have this precious memory with me always makes it all the more special. I received my Vena Chupps necklace as a gift, and it's quickly become one of my most treasured possessions. I can't help but smile every time I wear it, knowing that it's a piece of jewelry that will hold a special place in my heart for years to come.

We all know that being a mother can be a challenging and rewarding experience. But, let's face it, getting enough rest can be a struggle. Lack of sleep can lead to unwanted puffiness and inflammation in the face. Thankfully, there's a simple solution that can help you achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance - facial rollers! These rollers are a popular tool among beauty enthusiasts, and for a good reason. By incorporating them into your skincare routine, you can reduce inflammation and promote lymphatic drainage, leaving you looking and feeling revitalized. What's more, using a facial roller can be a great way to practice self-care and take a few moments for yourself amidst the hustle and bustle of motherhood. So why not give it a try? With just a few simple movements, you can achieve a more youthful and radiant look and feel ready to tackle whatever motherhood throws your way!

I am currently number 1423 on the waiting list for Emily Henry’s new book “Happy Place”. Her books are popular in general and perfect for a new mom looking for a little escapism!

There was something really comforting in the early stages of motherhood of my husband coming home from work and handing him the baby while I dove into a cookbook to prepare something nourishing for dinner. I love all the Halfbaked Harvest cookbooks but this one came out when my daughter was just a few months old and the recipes will always remind me of this stage of life.

Colored glassware is having a major moment and this plastic set found on Amazon would be perfect on a table or to have out by the pool! They are always dishwasher safe which is an absolute necessity!

I love ending the day with matching pajamas. Even if I feel like a trainwreck, it’s nice to go to sleep and wake up wearing something that I love and feel comfortable in. This set is buttery soft and just practically perfect in every way.

Wherever I can, I try to find things that are reusable and these makeup remover pads are amazing! I keep a stack in my bathroom to use at the end of the day and they have changed my life. I legitimately have no idea how they work but just a little bit of water and makeup comes right off. It’s unreal.
